A Multigenerational Movement Space
Caya is home to the Caya Movement — a layered Pilates practice where each sequence builds in challenge, giving you space to take what you need, leave what you don’t, and walk away feeling successful, challenged, and always improving. Classes are happening now in the gazebo, at pop-ups, and in outdoor spaces chosen for how they support your body and your mind.
Caya is in stage 1 and growing into something fuller — a place where movement, recovery, and whole-body wellness meet. We believe strength, mobility, and mental clarity are connected, and that a movement should feel accessible at any age or stage of life. What’s ahead will deepen that support, but for now, we’re here in these intimate spaces — building a community grounded in clarity, care, and thoughtful movement.
Misson Statment
Caya exists to welcome movement, healing, and belonging across generations. We support adult wellness while uplifting children, families, and elders through accessible classes, classes for kids, classes with kids, and supportive onsite childcare. Rooted in compassion and community care, we honor each person’s story and give back to the people and causes that need it most.
Reformer Pilates- coming June 2026!
Reformer Pilates uses a moving carriage, springs, and straps to create resistance that challenges your strength, stability, and control. It's dynamic, precise, and deeply core‑driven, helping you build power and alignment through intentional, full‑body movement.
Chair Pilates
Chair Pilates uses a compact, spring‑loaded chair to build balance, power, and stability through controlled, full‑body movement. It's athletic and surprisingly challenging, but done in small groups so you get close attention and support. The chair's design makes it an excellent option for injury recovery, limited mobility, and seniors, offering grounded, accessible strength work without sacrificing intensity or precision.
Pilates is a practice of moving with intention and control. Joseph Pilates called it Contrology: the art of using your mind to guide your body with precision, breath, and focus. It's not about doing endless reps; it's about doing each movement with purpose.
At the center of the method is your powerhouse, the deep core muscles that support your spine, balance, and overall strength. When you move from this place, your whole body organizes with more stability, clarity, and power. Pilates is full‑body work. Every exercise is designed to connect your breath, your muscles, and your awareness so you build strength that's both functional and deeply felt.
As Joseph Pilates said, “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”
In the Caya approach, Pilates becomes a focused conversation with your body. You build strength layer by layer, challenge yourself in ways that feel intentional and empowering, and leave feeling capable, aligned, and more at home in yourself.
What is Pilates?
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is the pure foundation of the method, using your own bodyweight, breath, and control to strengthen your powerhouse and move with precision. It's deceptively challenging, deeply focused, and builds strength from the inside out.
NOT Pilates
Not everything on a Mat is Pilates. This is your high‑intensity, music‑driven fusion class — a blend of strength training, functional movement, and aerobic energy. You'll use weights, tempo, and layered sequences to build heat, power, and endurance. It's not Pilates; it's sweatier, faster, and designed to leave you feeling strong and accomplished.
Kids
are
people
too
Caya loves kids — their wiggles, their wonder, their whole little selves. We also know that finding childcare (or not finding it) is one of the biggest reasons parents miss their workout. So we thought… why not make it easier?
What if the place you go to nourish your mind and body also had childcare right on site? What if you could take your own class while your little one is happily cared for just a few steps away? What if that same place offered classes WITH your child, where they get to play and you get to move? What if your kids had their own fun classes, designed just for them?
Welcome to Caya — where movement meets real life, and families are always part of the picture.
Childcare (ages 3 months–5 years): Available during select class times so you can take time for yourself with peace of mind.
Look for our kid‑friendly classes and adult classes with childcare available on the schedule. For safety, all classes for children or with children are Mat‑only.
🌱 Age‑Friendly Offerings
Parent & Me (ages 4 and under): Move together, play together, wiggle together. Kids Classes (ages 5+): Fun, movement‑rich sessions designed to keep them entertained and moving while providing parents with a full Caya work out. Teens (ages 15–17): They can take any adult mat class for free when attending with their guardian.
